2024 wrap up

Hi all .. 2024 has been a rather decent year .. the training group has stabilised and training and the group spirit has been a wonderful motivating factor, long may it continue.

We have our last group run together on the 21st December and then we will have a week where we don't meet from the 24th December through to the New Year, with plans to meet for a run on Thursday the 2nd January 2025.

It is the usual off period planned and then the Christmas and New Year celebrations, during this time, the plan is to run every 2nd day till we meet up.

The idea is run 1hr or 15km every 2nd day .. 20 to 30 minutes is fine and it is up to each individual as to what they want to do but no runs over 15km as the intention is for each person to 'iron' out any problems they may have regarding little niggles and or an itchy throat for example. Use this period to realign, so if you want to get sick, plan it for this 'off-period'  😉
